Q: What is the difference between an Open Trip (Sharing) and a Private Trip (Charter)?

A: An Open Trip is a scheduled departure where you book individual cabins and share the vessel with other travelers—perfect for solo travelers or couples. A Private Trip means you charter the entire vessel exclusively for your group, allowing you to completely customize the itinerary, pace, and daily schedule.

Q: What amenities are included in the cabins?

A: All our guest cabins feature individually controlled air conditioning (AC), hotel-grade bedding, clean linens, towels, and an en-suite private bathroom with hot/cold freshwater showers and essential complimentary toiletries.

Q: Is there Wi-Fi and electricity available onboard?

A: Yes, we provide 24-hour electricity with standard European/Indonesian 2-pin round sockets. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available onboard; however, please note that internet connectivity can be unstable or completely unavailable (blank spots) in remote areas of the Komodo National Park.

Q: When is the best time of year to visit Komodo?

A: The prime sailing season runs from May to September, offering sunny skies, calm seas, and excellent underwater visibility. July and August are peak tourist months.

Q: What are the standard boarding and disembarkation times?

A: On Day 1, boarding typically begins between 09:00 AM – 10:00 AM WITA. On the final day, the boat returns to Labuan Bajo Harbor around 11:00 AM – 01:00 PM WITA. We highly recommend booking an arrival flight landing before 09:00 AM on Day 1, and a departure flight after 02:00 PM on your final day.

Q: Can the itinerary change during the trip?

A: Yes. Guest safety is our absolute priority. The captain and cruise director may adjust the route or sailing schedule at any time due to changing weather conditions, sea currents, wind speeds, or official port authority (Syahbandar) regulations.

Q: What is included in the package price?

A: The price includes accommodation onboard, 3 to 4 freshly prepared meals daily (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, dinner), free-flow mineral water, coffee, and tea, snorkeling gear (mask & fins), life jackets, documentation services (depending on your specific package), and airport or hotel transfers within Labuan Bajo.

Q: What is excluded from the package price?

A: Exclusions include flights to/from Labuan Bajo, Komodo National Park entrance fees & local government retributions, personal travel insurance, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, scuba diving gear rentals, and voluntary tipping for the boat crew (crew tipping).

Q: Why are the Komodo National Park entrance fees charged separately?

A: National Park regulations and government tariffs are subject to sudden changes without prior notice. Additionally, government rates vary significantly between Indonesian Citizens (WNI) and International Visitors (WNA), as well as between weekdays and weekends/public holidays.

Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?

A: The down payment (DP) is strictly non-refundable. If a cancellation is requested by the guest less than 30 days prior to departure, all payments made are forfeited. However, if the trip is canceled by our management due to severe weather restrictions or port closure (Force Majeure), we will prioritize rescheduling options or offer a refund according to our terms.

Q: Is the liveaboard trip safe for children, seniors, or non-swimmers?

A: Absolutely. We maintain high safety standards with international-grade life jackets available for both adults and children. Our experienced tour guides and crew members will closely escort and supervise guests during swimming, snorkeling, and land trekking activities.

Q: Can you accommodate dietary restrictions or food allergies?

A: Yes, we can accommodate various dietary requirements, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or specific food allergies (such as seafood). Please notify our booking team of any dietary needs at least 7 days prior to departure.

Q: Is this a dedicated Scuba Diving trip or a Snorkeling/Leisure trip?

A: Our standard packages are designed for leisure and snorkeling. If you wish to scuba dive, please inform us during the booking phase so we can arrange additional dive tanks, diving permits, dive gear, and a certified Divemaster to accompany your group.
